REVOLUTIONARY TREATMENT.
DRUG FREE.
Natural, drug free prevention and treatment therapy for bovine mastitis

HOW
IT WORKS
Mastilight Vet is revolutionary technology designed to safely prevent and treat bovine mastitis, reduce infection, increase milk flow and promote quick healing of the udder tissue caused by infection or trauma resulting in shorter treatment times and a quicker return to production.

It is a safe, non-invasive and simple to use therapeutic device that locally applies a high-density narrow band light source at key delivery points from to:
affect cell metabolism
stimulate regeneration & healing
Reduce pain & inflammation
Reduce scar tissue development
Clear blocked milk ducts
BOVINE MASTITIS

Bovine mastitis is the most frequent and costly disease affecting the global dairy industry.

Mastitis is estimated to cost the global dairy industry 19.7 to 32.1 billion USD annually.

Mastitis is categorised as either clinical (CM) or sub-clinical (SCM).

CM is causes milk that is visibly watery, thick or ropey, flakey, flocky, containing pus and blood or clots and the udder is usually red, swollen and painful.

SCM is not not visibly notable when looking at the milk, the udder appears normal. Somatic cell count of the milk is elevated, and microorganisms can usually be detected in a diagnostic sample.

A case of CM or SCM may lead to an economic loss that ranges somewhere between US$128 and US$444 per cow (Rollin et al. 2015; Cha et al. 2011; Huijps et al. 2008).
CHALLENGES IN CURRENT TREATMENTS
Therapy with antimicrobials is the primary method for combating mastitis. Treatment is difficult and has mixed success rates due to:
Diverse sources and types of pathogens
Types of drugs available
Clincal course of the disease
Antibiotic residue in milk harmful to humans
Etiological agents
Methods and routes of drug delivery
Lack of effective and specific methods of prevention
Increased antibiotic resistance in bacteria within the bovine population
MINIMAL &
SMART DESIGN
We have designed an innovative, patented technology for the prevention and treatment of bovine mastitis that is safe, non-invasive, drug free and affordable.

Our goal is to provide effective, safe and cost effective treatment options for the dairy industry to improve management of bovine mastitis and to reduce the bulk somatic cell count of their milk.
Increased milk production
Increased profit
Reduced Bulk Cell Count
Reduced veterinarian and drug costs
Reduced premature culling
